Eight students were fatally shot this afternoon at a school in Tuusula, Finland. The 18 year old entered his high school and began shooting. He then turned the gun on himself but the suicide attempt was unsuccessful. The people of Tuusula are very shocked that something like this could happen in their town. Although gun ownership is common, shootings are not. A video posted on YouTube was said to have warned of the attack. The video titled "Jokela High School Massacre" showed the school as well as pictures of the gunman with his .22 caliber handgun. The motive for the shooting is unknown but the gunman did call for a "revolution against the system" on his YouTube page.
