Kanye West Loses His Mother

Kanye West's mother, Dr. Donda West, died on Saturday night. Though her cause of death has not been reported, she is said to have died after undergoing a tummy tuck and breast reduction. The doctor who performed the surgery, Dr. Jan Adams is now under scrutiny and could be suspended from the medical board for performing surgery on a patient with pre-existing medical conditions. He also had two previous malpractice suits in 2001 and is reported to be a multi DUI offender. Dr. Adams is not certified as a plastic surgeon and the surgery on Mrs.West reportedly took eight hours, twice as long as it should have. Instead of being sent to a recovery home, she was sent to her own home where she was later found dead. She was only 58 years old and worked as a professor at Chicago State University before retiring to be Kanye's manager.
