Goodwill Hunting

If you are looking for real authentic vintage for a low price, you can’t get any closer than shopping in a thrift shop. Throw out all of your preconceptions about thrift shops and open your mind to take in a new meaning. How about cheap couture or frugal fashion? Thrifty Trendy or Savvy Saver works well too. Though the clothing at thrift shops may be used, the term “used” has a very wide standard. Some people think of used as worn once and didn’t like it, or bought but never worn, and yes, worn everyday until it became physically impossible for me to squeeze into it any more. I’m sure your keen eye will be able to tell the difference between these items. When you walk into a thrift stop, you never know what you might find... or who you might see. That is exactly why I am so excited that Goodwill has opened an online store. You can shop isles and isles of thrift from the convenience of your home computer. If the thought of wearing used clothes grosses you out, you can also find antiques, books and magazines, toys and even home decor. Things are being added everyday, so every time you log on it’s a completely new store. Best of all, its cheap! It never hurts to look; here is a sample of what is being sold right now:

(I won't post links because they are always changing)

A Prada Bag for $201
Black Leather Booties $6
XOXO Jeans $4
Express Silk Shirt $3

ALL OF THE ABOVE ITEMS WERE BRAND NEW!!

Just take a peek, and I am sure you will like what you find.

Coco Chanel didn't say a girl had to pay top price to be fabulous!
